Ohio gas prices down slightly Posted on August 16, 2016 0 COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Gas prices around Ohio are down slightly heading into the workweek. The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was $2.09 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s down 6 cents from a week ago and 10 cents below the average reported a month ago. The average price in Ohio at this time last year was $2.88. The national average price on Monday remained unchanged from a week ago, at $2.12, but was down 10 cents from a month ago. The average price across the nation this time last year was $2.67. Abundant supplies of gasoline have helped keep prices at the pump relatively low during the summer driving season.
