Wilson, Paugh take top NWCC baseball honors Posted on May 22, 2024 0 Xander Wilson was named the Northwest Central Conference baseball Player of the Year and Tyler Paugh earned Coach of the Year after Hardin Northern went 9-0 to win the league title. Three Polar Bears notched first-team All-NWCC honors: Wilson, Landon Wetherill and Mason Stewart. Kruz Curtis was second-team All-NWCC. Bo Bame and Nolan Hopson got honorable mentions. Maddox Underwood was Upper Scioto Valley’s lone first-team All-NWCC selection and Alex Sanders made second-team All-NWCC. Jesse Prater and Mason Thompson were honorable mentions. Ridgemont’s Ethan Moore was their first-team All-NWCC honoree and Xavier Stuck got second-team All-NWCC. Honorable mentions went to Jon Cromer and Jayden Sifrit.
