Lima Perry run-rules USV baseball Posted on May 2, 2024 0 LIMA — Upper Scioto Valley jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but fell 13-3 at Lima Perry Tuesday in a six-inning Northwest Central Conference baseball game. The Rams drop to 6-8 overall and 4-4 in NWCC play. The Commodores are 6-5 overall and 3-3 in NWCC games. Lima Perry got one back in the home first, and added three more runs in the third, one in the fourth, seven in the fifth and one in the sixth to enforce the mercy-rule. Alex Sanders and Maddox Underwood both doubled, but those were the only hits for USV. Underwood scored twice and stole two bases. Sanders had the other run. Andrue Kindle and Mason Thompson both stole a base. Sanders tossed 2 2/3 innings and gave up four hits and three earned runs. Jesse Prater threw 1 2/3 innings and conceded five hits and five earned runs. Thompson pitched an inning and struck out two, but walked five.
