Kenton’s boys track and field team was crowned Hardin County champions in Tuesday’s meet at Hardin Northern.

DOLA — Riverdale’s girls amassed a whopping 230 points and Kenton’s boys came out on top with 143 points to take home the hardware at the Hardin County track and field meet Tuesday at Hardin Northern.

Riverdale’s girls topped Kenton 230-141. Ada was third at 65.5, Ridgemont fourth at 47.5, Hardin Northern fifth at 29 and Upper Scioto Valley sixth with three points.

The Kenton boys edged Riverdale 143-127. Ada wasn’t far behind with 112 points and Ridgemont was fourth with 88. Hardin Northern notched 37 and USV had 16 points.

Riverdale’s Kendel Rall was the 100 hurdles champion in 16.99, the 300 hurdles winner in 48.81 and the long jump champ at 16-8.25. Ella Roach sprinted to first in the 100 dash in 13.03. Allison Woodruff was the mile winner in 5:14.06 and the 3200 champ in 11:28.83. Marissa Bonham had the top 400 time (59.91) and the best 200 time (26.63). Kinsey Shull had the leading discus toss at 95-9.5. Katie Boucher won the shot put at 33-1. Shae Berger won the high jump at 4-10.

Riverdale’s girls dominated the competition and won the Hardin County track and field meet Tuesday at Hardin Northern.

Kenton’s Quinlyn Spearman ran the 800 in 2:29.26 for first. Delaney Buxton was the pole vault winner at an 8-6 height. Hardin Northern’s Riley Newton captured first in the boys 400 in 51.95.

Riverdale’s Andrew Woodruff won the boys 1600 in 4:51.27, beating Kenton’s Ethan Yoder (4:53.00). Woodruff had the best 3200 time (11:02.15).

Ada’s Jackson Brown easily won the 110 hurdles by over two seconds with a 14.99 and took first in the 200 dash in 23:00.

Ridgemont’s Clayton Patterson won the 100 dash in 11.21, ahead of Ada’s Jackson Brown’s 11.24. Patterson took top honors in the long jump at 20-5. Ridgemont’s Kolton Manns won the 800 in 2:07.82. Patrick Stacklin had a 5-10 high jump for first.

Kenton’s Tommy Mustain won the 300 hurdles by less than a second (43.94) and the pole vault by a foot (12-6). Brodin Mattox won the discus (137-9.5) and the shot put (46-3.5).
