BL middle school volleyball wins tri-match Posted on September 18, 2017 0 The Ben Logan seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams won a tri-match with Kenton and Northridge on Saturday. The eighth grade Raiders topped Kenton 25-14, 25-17 and Northridge 25-12, 25-23. For the day, Lauren Dixon had 9 aces, Jennifer Naragon recorded 8 aces, Lynzee Cronkelton had 6 aces and Lily Makin finished with 4 aces. Cronkleton led the Raider attack with had 6 kills, while Makin chipped in with 5 kills and Haleigh Brentlinger notched 3 Kills. The eighth grade Raiders improved their record to 11-1. The seventh grade Raiders topped Kenton 25-7, 25-2 and Northridge 25-14, 25-20. Lily Blackburn had 13 aces in the match against Kenton, while Jillian Plikerd added 11. Alison Armentrout and Macy Matthews both had a kill and Lily Blackburn added a block. In the match against Northridge, Blackburn served up 8 aces, while Plikerd added 5, Kiley Daniels had 4. Brielle Moorhouse chipped in with 4 kills and a block, while Elliott Bailey had 2 kills.
