MOUNT BLANCHARD — Ada held a slim 19-18 lead over Riverdale at half and eked out a 37-32 Blanchard Valley Conference boys basketball victory Friday night at Riverdale.

The Falcons (2-4, 0-2 BVC) led 12-10 after one, but went down 19-18 at half. The Bulldogs (3-2, 2-0 BVC) took the third quarter 7-6 to go up 26-24 and 11 points was all they needed in the fourth quarter.

Riverdale’s Jack Dusseau led all scorers with 14 points. Grant Inbody pitched in six points. Evan Reiter and Cody Flowers-Barger both had four points. Ethan Elwood and Hayden Hagerty each had two points.

Carson Conley chipped in 13 points to pace Ada. Gavin Oldfield and Kayleb Hickman both finished with six points. Zack Zimmerman posted five points. Slade Gossman scored four points. Kolton Dysert had two points, and Ethan Lawrence added one.

Next up, Riverdale hits the road to take on Kenton today at 6 p.m. Ada plays at New Knoxville Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
