Surfs up, ducks

Jared McNeely and Mason Manns were lost tourists at the Hardin County Fair Thursday who “just happened” to walk into the poultry dress up show in the small show arena.

They didn’t go home with the top title for their costumes, but they were considered by many to be “just ducky.”

The poultry competition at this year’s fair smashed all previous records with between 500 and 600 birds entered in the competition.
