Dish kabobs Posted on September 6, 2018 0 Times photo/Dan Robinson The pork portion of the Dish Day competition featured kabobs this year. Taking first place was Elaine Hoover (let), who won with an Hawaiian Grilled Pork entry. Second place honors went to Lori Paul’s Creole pork. The sweet and sour pork entered by Courtney Kiper won the third place ribbon and Jeannette Kiper won with her southwest pork creation. Merlene Brooks was named the fifth-place winner with a BBQ Teriyaki pork entry. Looking on are Hardin County Pork Queen Alexa Lowery (left) and Fair King Chase Fleece.
