Rodney Britton Posted on June 13, 2024 0 Rodney Britton, age 77, cherished father, grandfather, and pillar of the Ridgemont community, passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2024, at 8:00 PM, surrounded by his adoring family in the comfort of his home. His legacy of love, laughter, and service will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. A funeral service for Rodney will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Ridgemont Gym in Ridgeway with Pastor Jmac Geissinger officiating. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory. The family has asked for guests to wear their Ridgemont gear and apparel to all services, as Rodney would have loved it. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mount Victory State Bank to the Rodney Britton Scholarship Fund, honoring Rodney’s commitment to education and his enduring legacy of generosity.
