Byers Sr. will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Steve Hess. Burial will take place in Grove Cemetery in Kenton, where full military rites will be performed by the Kenton AMVETS Post 1994 Honor Guard. Friends may call 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He died at 7:08 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital. Contributions in Charles’ memory may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
