Water main break

A “major” water line break in Kenton late Thursday morning resulted in water being shut off in the entire city. The break was at the corner of Main and Franklin streets in front of Liberty National Bank and city crews are shown working to dig out the line to fix the problem.

Once water service is restored, a boil water alert will be in place. The break led to the early dismissal of Kenton City Schools.
