Rotarian Jason Jones invited Andrew Leddy to speak about his new position with Kenton City Schools as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Kenton High School.

Leddy was hired in June 2024 to give high school athletes a well-rounded, positive, training environment. He assists with current KHS sports programs including, but not limited to, soccer, volleyball, football, and tennis.

Born and raised in Findlay, Leddy attended college at the University of Findlay, graduating with a bachelor’s degrees in strength and conditioning as well as education. He was also captain of the UF football team.

Leddy started his career in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in 2012 working with middle, high school, college and pro athletes. Once his two children were born, he and his wife decided to move back closer to home to take the coaching job with KHS.

His goal is to include all students at the middle and high school in a class to teach valuable like skills by learning how to strength train and make their fitness a priority.  These skills will assist them now and later in life, Leddy said.
