WHILE IT MAY SOUND RIDICULOUS AT FIRST… IF YOU ARE IN IT FOR THE CHILDREN THEN THE FACT THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN FROM THAT ONE BAD SEED SHOULDN’T BOTHER YOU. IT ONLY MAKES SENSE THAT A PEDOPHILE WOULD INTERJECT HIM/HERSELF INTO SUCH ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK WITH YOUTH. TAKING THE COURSE TO RECOGNIZE AN ABUSED CHILD IS A VERY GOOD IDEA FOR MANY REASONS BEYOND PEDOPHILIA.

I AM NOT SURE WHY THE REPEAT EVERY FOUR YEARS. THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO MAINTAIN A LIST OF THOSE IN THEIR SYSTEM AND CREATE A PROGRAM TO FLAG SOMEONE WHO TURNS UP IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM.

    JUST MY OPINION – pjs
