The deadline to file as an independent candidate for the November 2025 election was listed incorrectly in a reader editorial in Saturday’s Times.
The correct deadline is 4 p.m. on May 5, said Amy Purcell, director of the Hardin County Board of Elections. This includes people wanting to run for any Kenton or Ada offices up for election.
