The director of the Logan County Emergency Management Agency says no injuries were reported in the fire at the Mad River Mountain resort in Zanesfield. Authorities said an unknown number of nearby village residents were kept away from their homes until the fire was under control. The blaze reported around 7:30 p.m. was under control by 10 p.m. But fire crews remained on the scene through the night to monitor hot spots. Investigators from the state fire marshal’s officer were expected at the site Thursday to try to determine the cause of the fire. The lodge had not yet opened for the season.
