Service of Thanksgiving set in Dunkirk Posted on November 18, 2016 0 DUNKIRK — A service of Thanksgiving will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Hardin Northern Community Center in Dunkirk. It is offered as a time for the community of believers to thank God for the many blessings he has given to all. The service will include gifts of gratitude from local churches in the form of music, seasonal readings, scripture, etc. Light refreshments will be available. All people in the Dola-Dunkirk community, as well as in the larger Hardin County area, are welcome. The gathering is sponsored by the following churches: St. John Lutheran, Dola Presbyterian, Grace United Methodist, Walnut Grove United Methodist, Dunkirk Assembly and Bridgeport.
