Bible School set by Forest churches Posted on July 10, 2015 0 FOREST — The Forest Community churches invite all kids to “God Is Our Friend” Vacation Bible School. This exciting VBS is for kids who have completed Pre-school through 5th grade. Older kids will be needed to help the younger ones. The fun begins Monday, July 13 and will continue through Friday, July17 from 6-8:15 p.m. A closing program and party for family and friends will be Friday, July 17 at 8 p.m. The Forest United Methodist Church will be the host church. The church is located at 111 E. Dixon St. At “God Is Our Friend” VBS you’ll learn about listening, learning, loving others, receiving a new heart and dharing. There will be cool crafts, fun songs, super fun games, fun snacks, puppets and you’ll make lots of new friends! The mission for this year is to bring in canned food items for the Forest-Wharton Food Pantry. Examples: canned vegetables, fruit, spaghetti sauce, beef or chicken broth, soups, etc. There will be a competition between the classes to see who can bring in the most.
