NOTICE TO PROFESSIONAL
CONSULTANTS
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The Wyandot County Airport Authority anticipates receiving grants from the FAA for various improvements at the Wyandot County Airport, during the next five (5) years. At this time, we are requesting a Statement of Qualifications and other supporting information from qualified professional consulting firms, teams, or individuals to complete this work. The submission shall be limited to fifteen (15) pages. Work may include rehabilitation, reconstruction, replacement, or new construction for the following projects: Runway Lighting, Beacon, Runway Overlay, PAPIs, Obstruction Removal, Fuel Farm.
Consultants shall submit three (3) copies of their responses to: Wyandot County Airport Authority 109 S Sandusky Ave, Room 16 Upper Sandusky, OH 43351
no later than 12:00p.m. on November 30, 2024.

Evaluation shall be based upon the following:
1. Understanding and experience with the planned improvements to the airport;
2. Familiarity with the existing airport facilities;
3. Comparable work experience at similar size airports, with references;
4. Qualifications of key personnel and their assignments;
5. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration regulations and ODOT Office of Aviation regulations;
6. Knowledge of Federal and State airport grant programs and experience in their processes.
Fees will not be a consideration in the selection and must not be included in the response. A preliminary review of the firms or individuals submitting responses will be undertaken with the intent of finalizing the candidates. A conference with finalists firm/individual may be scheduled individually to discuss the scope of the project and the qualifications of the firm/individual. Ultimately, the firm/individual representing our first choice will be asked to attend a contract negotiating conference. If an agreement is reached, both parties will enter into a contract. If no agreement is reached, negotiation will begin with the next highest-ranking firm/individual, etc. until a mutually agreeable contract has been established.
Fees will be negotiated only for work actually funded by the FAA and a contract entered into for only this work. This process will be repeated with the successful consultant for each FAA grant during the 5-year period. If agreement on any project is not reached, a new procurement action will be initiated. The Airport Authority reserves the right to delete services not required and to initiate additional procurement action for any additional services or other services not under contract.
