Bids for the Detroit Street Lead Line Replacement project will be received by the City of Kenton at the City Conference Room, 111 W. Franklin Street, Kenton, Ohio 43326, until Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: The replacement of lead line services along Detroit Street.
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found and downloaded at the following website: choiceoneengineering.com/projects-out-for-bid. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office of Choice One.
The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages. Attention of the Bidder is called to the various insurance requirements and various equal opportunity provisions.
This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs).

Notice of Public Meeting Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code §303.58(C)(2)
The Board of County Commissioners of Hardin County, Ohio hereby gives notice of the following:
At their regular meeting at 9:30am on March 25, 2025, at One Courthouse Square, Suite 100 Kenton, OH 43326, The Board of County Commissioners of Hardin County, Ohio intends to consider resolutions to designate the entirety of Pleasant, Hale, and Blanchard Townships in Hardin County, Ohio, as restricted areas for all Large Wind Farm, Large Solar Farm or Economically Significant Wind Farm Facility Development.
Definitions:
Economically Significant Wind Farmwind turbines and associated facilities with a single interconnection to the electrical grid and designed for, or capable of, operation at an aggregate capacity of five or more megawatts but less than fifty megawatts. See Ohio Revised Code §4906.13(A).
Large Solar Facilityan electric generation plant consisting of solar panels and associated facilities with a single interconnection to the electrical grid that is a major utility facility designed for or capable of operation at a capacity of fifty megawatts or more. See Ohio Revised Code §4906.01(G).
Large Wind Farman electric generating plant that consists of wind turbines and associated facilities with a single interconnection to the electrical grid that is a major utility facility designed for or capable of operation at a capacity of fifty megawatts or more per See Ohio Revised Code §4906.01(H).

LEGAL NOTICE
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code §519.12(D) the Hale Township Zoning Commission, Hardin County, Ohio, gives notice that a public hearing will be held on March 11, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hale Township Hall located at 206 South West Street, Mount Victory, Ohio 43340. The purpose of this hearing is to consider amending the Hale Township Zoning Plan to add regulations regarding renewable energy systems initiated by the Hale Township Board of Trustees by resolution on February 3, 2025. The proposed text amendments will be available starting February 6, 2025 for public examination, in the window of the Hale Township Hall, which is located at 206 South West Street, Mount Victory, Ohio 43340.
