BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan Middle School volleyball teams swept a pair of games against Urbana on Monday night. The seventh grade Raiders won 25-3, 25-9. Maddy Herring served 10 aces. Alex Algire and Celeste Allen served 4 aces each.

Kenton scored four goals in the first 19 minutes and never was threatened on the way to a 9-0 win over Upper Sandusky in a non-league boys soccer match on Saturday. The Wildcats improve to 4-0 on the season.

UPPER SANDUSKY — Kenton received goals from four different players on the way to a 4-0 win over Upper Sandusky in non-league girls soccer action on Saturday night. Scoring for the Wildcats were Lauren Bartlett, Addison Modd, Jazmine Mendez and Hannah Holland.

LIMA — Ridgemont swept Spencerville and Perry in a volleyball tri-match on Saturday morning. The Gophers topped Spencerville in three games 21-25, 25-15, 25-13 and Perry in three games 25-18, 21-25, 25-9.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan volleyball team split a tri-match with Triad and Fort Recovery on Saturday. The Raiders beat Triad 25-11, 25-7, 25-12 in the opening match of the day.

VAN BUREN — The Kenton volleyball team dropped a tri-match at Van Buren on Saturday, falling to the Black Knights and Elmwood. The Wildcats lost to Van Buren 25-15, 25-14 in their first match before falling to Elmwood 25-18, 25-13.

BELLEFONTAINE — It was a record-setting day for the Ben Logan soccer team as Rylan Studebaker set a record for most career assists and George Kern broke the school record for most goals in a game in a 13-0 win over Springfield Southeastern.

ATTICA — Upper Scioto Valley’s Brady Hipsher and Zack Britton both finished in the top 15 during the Seneca East Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Hipsher was ninth in a field of runners numbering more than 200 in a time of 17:56, while Britton was close behind in 15th in a time of 18:07.

DAYTON — The Ben Logan girls golf team dodged rain drops on Saturday afternoon to win the Miami East Invitational golf tournament. The Lady Raiders, led by Mailiis Simovart’s six over par 78, shot a team score of 383.

Rain held back and delayed outings, leagues and matches this past week at Memorial Park Golf Course. The couples league finished their season on Friday with fun, prizes and pizza.
