ARLINGTON — The Riverdale golf team finished third in a tri-match with McComb and Arcadia at Sycamore Springs Golf Course on Wednesday. McComb won the match with a 191, followed by Arcadia with a 195 and Riverdale at 209.

NEW CARLISLE — The Ben Logan Middle School volleyball teams defeated Tecumseh on Wednesday. The seventh grade Raiders topped the Arrows 25-11, 25-16.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — After Hardin Northern easily cruised to a game one win in its volleyball match against Riverdale on Tuesday night, it looked like it may be an easy night for the Polar Bears. The Falcons had other ideas, however, as they pulled away just as easily for a win in game two.

Host Kenton took two of the three singles matches and split the two doubles matches to defeat Defiance 3-2 in a Western Buckeye League girls tennis match on Tuesday. Winning in singles play for the Wildcats were Mykaela Schriber, who was a 6-1, 6-3 winner over Maria Resenddez, and Kelsey Flowers, who topped Alexa Bickford 6-2, 6-4.

ELIDA — The Kenton girls were third of six teams and the boys were fifth of 10 teams at the Elida Invitational on Tuesday night. Sammie Unger led the way for the Wildcats in the girls race, finishing fifth of 55 runners in a time of 21:31.

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf defeated Kenton 169-187 in a Western Buckeye League boys golf match at Pike Run Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. Peyton Roby carded a 43 to lead the Wildcats.

BELLEFONTAINE — North Union got past Ben Logan 180-186 in a Central Buckeye Conference boys golf match on Tuesday afternoon. The Raiders were led by Ethan Ricketts and Garrett Allen, who both carded 45s.

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan improved to 2-1 in Central Buckeye Conference volleyball play with a 25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18 victory over Springfield Northwestern on Tuesday night. The Raiders improve to 5-3 overall.

LEWISTOWN — George Kern had three goals and Dylan Welch chipped in with two goals and an assist as Ben Logan defeated Indian Lake 6-2 in a Central Buckeye Conference soccer match on Tuesday night, Devin Stalling also added a goal for the Raiders, who improve to 3-3-1 on the season.
