BELLEFONTAINE — After a scoreless first half, the Kenton boys soccer team took control in the second 40 minutes getting goals from Hayden Hicks and Garrett Wise to pull away for a 2-0 win over Bellefontaine in non-league action on Thursday.

MOUNT VICTORY — Ridgemont rallied from a two-game deficit to win a marathon five-set match with Hardin Northern 22-25, 18-25, 26-24, 25-14, 15-12 in Northwest Central Conference volleyball action on Thursday night. Shaylee McGrath had 10 kills, 3 blocks, an ace and 4 digs and Cassidy Knapp added 5 kills, 6 aces and 18 digs to lead the Gophers.

JACKSON CENTER — George Kern netted both goals to become Ben Logan’s all-time scoring leader as the Raiders topped Jackson Center 2-0 in a non-league boys soccer matchup on Thursday. Kern, who now has 47 career goals, also has 105 overall points which places him atop the points list as well.

Kenton edged Elida 188-191 in a Western Buckeye League golf match at Memorial Park Golf Course on Thursday. Rocco Longbrake and Peyton Roby both carded 44s to lead the Wildcats and share medalist honors. Ethan Wirbel carded a 49 and Taj Chahal had a 51.

Ottawa-Glandorf nipped Kenton 3-2 in a Western Buckeye League tennis match on Thursday, The Wildcats fall to 3-4 in WBL play.

HARROD — Ada improved to 2-0 in Northwest Conference volleyball play with a 26-24, 25-16, 25-15 win over Allen East on Thursday. The Bulldogs, who were led at the net by Megan Light’s 12 kills and 5 blocks, improve to 7-4 overall.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan swept Graham 25-19, 25-16, 25-23 in a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball match on Thursday night. Sarah VanDyke led the charge for the Raiders with 11 kills, 5 aces and 3 blocks, while Molly Vance tallied 12 kills.

BELLEFONTAINE — Graham’s Andy Milligan fired a 29 as the Falcons defeated Ben Logan 152-175 in a Central Buckeye Conference golf match on Thursday.

ADA — Chris Reyes scored the lone goal to lift Ada to a 1-0 win over Cory-Rawson in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match on Thursday afternoon. Brendan Sheridan had an assist for the Bulldogs, while Drew Hadley made saves in goal.

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta defeated Kenton in four games 25-16, 15-22, 19-25, 25-23 in a Western Buckeye League volleyball match on Thursday. No other information was received from the match. Kenton travels to Lima Senior on Tuesday.
