MILFORD CENTER — George Kern and Rylan Studebaker had goals as Ben Logan defeated Fairbanks 2-1 in a non-league soccer game on Wednesday night. The Raiders improve to 2-2-1 on the season while Fairbanks is now 2-2.

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan and Springfield played to a 0-0 tie in non-league girls soccer action on Wednesday night. Madison Manns earned the shutout in goal for the Raiders. Ben Logan, 1-2-1 on the season, plays host to Urbana on Wednesday.

MARYSVILLE — Fairbanks topped Ben Logan 168-186 in a non-league golf match at Darby Creek on Wednesday. Senior Garrett Allen led the Raiders with a 43. He was followed by Ethan Ricketts with a 45, Kaiden Weeks with a 47 and Jacob Mitchell with a 51.

After a rough beginning to the season in which the Kenton volleyball team dropped a road tri-match, the Lady Wildcats were looking for something positive to happen Tuesday night when they took the court against Waynesfield-Goshen.

Riverdale boys soccer coach Dylan Beck did not see his players for a couple months during the offseason, and when he finally did, he found they had grown — and not just figuratively. The Falcons used their height to convert on three headers for goals and used their speed to create opportunities while overwhelming Upper Sandusky, 10-1, in a boys soccer match Tuesday night.
