The Kenton boys soccer team remained the only unbeaten team in the Western Buckeye League with a 3-0 win over Elida on Thursday night. The Wildcats improve to 12-0-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the WBL with matches against Wapakoneta and Bath left next week.
BELLEFONTAINE —The Benjamin Logan volleyball team picked up a 25-13, 25-13, 25-23 win over Springfield Northwestern on senior night Thursday evening. The Raiders improve to 15-5 overall and 7-1 in league play.
ADA — Lincolnview defeated Ada in four games, 25-16, 25-20, 13-25, 25-14 in a Northwest Conference volleyball matchup on Thursday night. Megan Light led the way for the Bulldogs with 15 kills and 2 blocks, while Rilan Conley chipped in with 8 kills, Miranda Wills finished with 6 kills and Raina England had 5 kills.
WAYNESFIELD — Hardin Northern swept Waynesfield-Goshen 25-18, 29-27, 25-10 in a Northwest Central Conference volleyball match on Thursday. Alex Jackson had 7 kills and Rylie Bame added 6 spikes to lead the Polar Bear attack. Morgan Pauley chipped in with 5 kills, while Gabby Weaver had 9 assists and Bame added 17 serve receives.
OTTAWA —League-leading Ottawa-Glandorf swept Kenton in three games 25-8, 25-11, 25-12 in a Western Buckeye League volleyball match on Thursday. The Wildcats fall to 3-12 on the season and 0-7 in the WBL. The Titans are now 16-1 and 7-0. Statistics from the match were not received.
FINDLAY — Chris Reyes scored the lone Ada goal off an assist from Skylar Williams as Ada tied Liberty-Benton 1-1 in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association boys match on Thursday. Drew Hadley had 8 saves for the Bulldogs, who are now 6-5-1 on the season. Ada travels to Paulding on Saturday for a noon match,
