ST. MARYS — Kenton scored three second-half goals to pull away for a 4-0 win over St. Marys in a Western Buckeye League boys soccer contest on Monday night. The Wildcats improve to 8-0-1 overall and 2-0-1 in WBL action. St. Marys falls to 6-2-1 (2-2 WBL).

ELIDA — Kenton swept Elida 5-0 in a Western Buckeye League girls tennis matchup on Tuesday.

SPRINGFIELD — George Kern scored the lone Ben Logan goal as the Raiders tied Kenton Ridge 1-1 in a Central Buckeye Conference boys soccer match on Monday night. Devin Stalling assisted on Kern’s goal as the Raiders move to 4-3-1 on the season. Kenton Ridge is now 3-2-1.

SPRINGFIELD — The Ben Logan girls golf team defeated Northwestern 178-213 at Reid Park on Monday afternoon. Sydney Wesson carded a 38 to lead the Raiders and earn medalist honors.

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan defeated Springfield Northwestern 183-194 in a Central Buckeye Conference golf match on Monday afternoon at Reid Park. Kaiden Weaks shot his best score of the year with a 42 to lead the Raiders.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan Middle School volleyball teams swept North Union on Monday night. The seventh grade Raiders won in two sets 25-10, 25-13.

While people know the student athletes of the Kenton City Schools as Wildcats, there has never really been just one specific ‘”Wildcat” logo used to identify the district. That is until now. When the new school year began, the district unveiled a new logo family that it hopes will help set Kenton City Schools apart form other districts around Ohio that also use a Wildcat logo.

GALION — Brady Hipsher led the way for the Upper Scioto Valley boys cross country team that finished 21 of 26 teams at the Galion Invitational on Saturday. Hipsher finished 27th in a 173-runner field in a time of 18:14.

VANDALIA — The Ben Logan volleyball team picked up non-conference wins over Vandalia Butler and Wayne on Saturday to improve to 8-3 on the season. In the first match, the Raiders beat Wayne 25-13, 25-10, and 25-7.

BELLEFONTAINE — Jen Naragon scored the lone goal as the Ben Logan girls soccer team defeated Pleasant 1-0 on Saturday. Madi Manns and Kaycee Cook played in goal for the Raiders. The Raiders host Kenton Ridge tonight.
