SPRINGFIELD — The Benjamin Logan boys varsity soccer team defeated Springfield Shawnee 1-0 Wednesday evening. Peter Kratz scored off a Rylan Studebaker assist with about nine minutes left in the game for the lone goal.

The Kenton High school girls tennis team won the final two matches to sweep Bath 5-0 in a match that was finished on Wednesday after being postponed by rain after being partially completed earlier in the season. No. 1 singles player Mykaela Schriber and No. 2 player Kelsey Flowers completed matches with victories on Wednesday.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Arlington defeated Riverdale 25-11, 25-13, 25-16 in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball matchup on Wednesday. Tayler Ashburn led the Falcons with 5 kills, while Bry VandenBosch added 4 kills, 4 digs and an ace and Tayler Yoder had 8 assists, 7 digs and 2 aces.

ADA — Chris Reyes had two goals to lead Ada to a 5-1 win over New Knoxville in a non-league boys soccer contest on Tuesday afternoon. Brendan Sheridan added a goal and three assists for the Bulldogs, who improve to 5-2 on the season.

VAN WERT — Hannah Holland, Sydney Plott netted two goals each and Addison Modd and Lexi Wetherill both had one tally as Kenton shut out Van Wert 6-0 in a Western Buckeye League girls soccer match on Tuesday night.

McGUFFEY — Perry swept Upper Scioto Valley 25-21, 25-13, 25-15 in a Northwest Central Conference volleyball match on Tuesday. Avery Sanders had 4 kills and 2 blocks to lead the Rams, while Maddy Cornell added 2 blocks.

DELPHOS — Ada improved to 3-0 in the Northwest Conference with a 25-17, 25-15, 25-16 volleyball win over Delphos Jefferson on Tuesday night. Megan Light had 10 kills and Rilan Conley added 8 kills to lead the Bulldog attack at the net.

ST. PARIS — The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders completed an undefeated league season by winning the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division meet after shooting a team score of 367 at Lakeland Golf Course on Tuesday. Leading the champion Raiders were Mailiis Simovart and Sydney Wesson who tied for first place in the division and were co-players of the year. Their scores were not received.
