KHS girls tennis team has mixed results against Bath

The Kenton High school girls tennis team won the final two matches to sweep Bath 5-0 in a match that was finished on Wednesday after being postponed by rain after being partially completed earlier in the season. No. 1 singles player Mykaela Schriber and No. 2 player Kelsey Flowers completed matches with victories on Wednesday.

Arlington spikes Falcons

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Arlington defeated Riverdale 25-11, 25-13, 25-16 in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball matchup on Wednesday. Tayler Ashburn led the Falcons with 5 kills, while Bry VandenBosch added 4 kills, 4 digs and an ace and Tayler Yoder had 8 assists, 7 digs and 2 aces.

Perry sweeps Rams

McGUFFEY — Perry swept Upper Scioto Valley 25-21, 25-13, 25-15 in a Northwest Central Conference volleyball match on Tuesday. Avery Sanders had 4 kills and 2 blocks to lead the Rams, while Maddy Cornell added 2 blocks.

Lady Raiders claim Mad River crown

ST. PARIS — The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders completed an undefeated league season by winning the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division meet after shooting a team score of 367 at Lakeland Golf Course on Tuesday. Leading the champion Raiders were Mailiis Simovart and Sydney Wesson who tied for first place in the division and were co-players of the year. Their scores were not received.
