OHSAA postpones state X-country meet COLUMBUS — The Ohio High School Athletic Association has postponed Saturday’s state cross country tournament to Saturday, Nov. 10, due to flooding conditions on the course at National Trail Raceway in Hebron. Plaugher leads Bassmasters in final Lake Erie tourney of 2018 The Trophy Bassmasters of Kenton Ohio made their last regular season trip to Lake Erie recently for a good day of tight competition as 13 members competed during the 9-hour day. HN’s Dennis selected NWCC coach of year Hardin Northern coach Mike Dennis was voted the Northwest Central Conference football coach of the year and several area players were named to the league’s first and second team on the all-league team released earlier this week. Dennis, who has been battling adrenal cancer, was selected by his peers as the league’s top coach this season after guiding the Polar Bears through a 4-6 season that included a come-from-behind win over Riverside.
