BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan bowling teams came up with a pair of victories over North Union on Wednesday night. The Lady Raiders won 2,373-1,929.

WESTERVILLE — Otterbein made 18 three-pointers on Wednesday night on the way to a 92-78 victory over Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference men’s basketball matchup. Daniel Donner had a career-high 23 points to lead the Polar Bears, while Ryan Bruns flirted with a triple-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley found its shooting touch in the second half against North Baltimore on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for the Rams it was too little, too late as they could not overcome a large halftime deficit in a 66-42 loss to the visiting Tigers.

NORTH LEWISBURG— Ridgemont got off to a fast start and then held off a second half rally by Triad for a 69-55 non-conference boys basketball victory on Tuesday night. The Gophers led 20-12 after eight minutes and 40-23 at halftime before Triad pulled within 52-44 after three quarter.

MECHANICSBURG — Mechanicsburg built an early lead over Hardin Northern and then held off the Polar Bears in the second half for a 67-61 non-league boys basketball victory on Tuesday night. The hosts led 11-6 after eight minutes and 32-20 at halftime before being outscored by Hardin Northern 41-35 in the second half.

MARION — Marion Harding broke open the game with a 31-point second quarter on the way to a 78-22 victory over Kenton in non-league girls basketball action on Tuesday night. The Prexies led 14-9 after the first quarter before outscoring the Wildcats 31-2 during the second eight minutes to grab a commanding 45-11 lead by halftime.

WEST LIBERTY — Trailing by eight points at halftime, Ben Logan rallied in the second half to pull out a 58-54 non-conference boys basketball victory on Tuesday night. The Raiders trailed 11-10 after one quarter and 25-17 at halftime before outscoring the hosts 18-13 in the third quarter and 23-16 in the final eight minutes.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan boys and girls swim teams combined for a second place finish at the Logan County Senior Meet on Tuesday. Ben Logan, Indian Lake and Bellefontaine competed in the meet.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan boys bowling team rolled past Northwestern 2,854-2,516 in a Central Buckeye Conference match on Tuesday. Devon Snider rolled his personal high game of 274 and added 233 for a 506 series.

The Kenton Middle School boys basketball teams defeated Ben Logan on Tuesday night. The seventh grade Wildcats won 35-18 to improve to 7-3 on the season.
