FINDLAY — The City of Findlay Recreation Department will host “National Skate Month - Skate to Superpowers” from 1-2:50 p.m. Saturday at The Cube. There will be a short skating exhibition at 1 p.m. followed by a public skate until 2:50 p.m.

The Black team defeated the White team by four points in Masonic Pool Tournament play on Thursday night. The White team now leads the tournament by 1 point.

LIMA — The Ben Logan girls bowling team finished 13th of 19 teams in the Pioneer Bowling Classic at 20th Century Lanes on Monday. Ashley Gantt rolled games of 215, 156 and 143 for a 514 series.

BOTKINS — Botkins outscored Ridgemont in all four quarters on the way to a 87-67 win over the Gophers in boys basketball action on Friday night. The host Trojans led 24-15 after eight minutes and 45-34 at halftime before increasing their lead to 67-50 going into the four quarter.

A Mount Victory woman pleaded guilty to multiple counts of money laundering and was sent to prison for five years in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Kenton broke open a tie game with an 8-2 run in the final two minutes of the game to pull away for a 57-51 victory over St. Marys and earn its first Western Buckeye League win of the season on Friday night. The Wildcats, who were paced by Jaron Sharp’s game-high 32-point effort, improve to 9-3 on the season and 1-3 in WBL play.

McGUFFEY — After jumping out to a 21-17 lead on Perry early in the second quarter by way of the 3-ball, Upper Scioto Valley surrendered a 17-0 run that lasted into the third quarter, putting them down 13. The Rams managed to cut the lead to eight points midway through the third, but a key three-pointer by Perry’s Jamal Whiteside gave Perry the momentum it needed to cruise to a 68-44 victory on Friday night.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — One year ago, the Riverdale boys basketball team had only won two games before Jan. 19. This year, the Falcons have more than quadrupled that win total.

LEWISTOWN — Leading Indian Lake 40-38 heading into the fourth quarter, the Benjamin Logan Raiders were outscored 15-7 in the final eight minutes, falling to their Central Buckeye Conference rival 52-47.

CONVOY — The Ada Bulldogs kept Crestview within striking distance after one quarter, trailing 12-9, but were outscored 28-6 in the second, setting them up for a 65-35 loss on Friday.
