The Hardin County Sports Hall of Fame will induct five new members and one team in its 2015 class.

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Northwestern defeated the Ben Logan girls 51-48 on Wednesday night, ruining the Raiders bid to get through the CBC’s Mad River Division with a perfect record.

The Ridgemont eighth grade girls basketball team defeated Hardin Northern 38-14 to advance in the Northwest Central Conference tournament on Wednesday night.

McGUFFEY — The members of the Upper Scioto Valley girls basketball team knew going into Tuesday night’s game they would have their hands full against St. Wendelin’s Kamryn Troike.

CALEDONIA — River Valley broke open a tie game by outscoring Kenton by seven points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 56-49 victory over the visiting Wildcats in a nonleague girls basketball game on Tuesday night.

LIMA — Hardin Northern outscored Perry by two points in the final eight minutes to edge the Commodores 30-28 in a Northwest Central Conference girls basketball contest on Monday night.
