DUNKIRK — Hardin Northern pulled away with an eight-run fourth inning on the way to a 13-3 victory over Perry in a Northwest Central Conference softball game on Tuesday.

McGUFFEY — A bad start hurt the Upper Scioto Valley softball team on Tuesday. The Rams allowed six unearned runs in the first inning as they fell to Waynesfield-Goshen 8-4 in Northwest Central Conference action.

LIMA — A late inning Kenton rally fell short as Bath defeated the Wildcats 5-4 in Western Buckeye League baseball action on Tuesday afternoon. Trailing 5-0 after a four-run Bath fifth inning, the visiting Wildcats plated two runs in both the sixth and seventh innings before Bath was able to escape with the victory.

SPRINGFIELD — The Ben Logan baseball team scored nine runs in the second inning and added four more in both the third and fourth frames in cruising to a 17-1 five-inning victory over Springfield Northwestern on Tuesday afternoon.

LIMA — Ada scored three runs in the third inning and added four more in the sixth frame on the way to a 9-4 victory over Lima Temple Christian in a non-league baseball game on Tuesday afternoon.

DOLA — Perry scored seven runs in each of the first two innings and Dustin Lauck hurled a no-hitter as the Commodores blanked Hardin Northern 18-0 in Northwest Central Conference baseball action on Tuesday afternoon.

RIDGEWAY — Austin Sloan won two individual events and was on two winning relays as Upper Scioto Valley edged Riverdale for first place in the Hardin County Track Meet on Monday night.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — In the bottom of the fourth inning Monday night, Riverdale seemed to be in fine position in a key Blanchard Valley Conference softball game.
