HN girls win, boys 2nd at home meet

DOLA — The Hardin Northern girls were first and the Polar Bear boys finished second in the track quadrangular with Arcadia, Arlington and North Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Polar Bears tallied 84 points, followed by Arlington with 66.5, North Baltimore with 65.5 and Arcadia with 24.

Gophers shut out in road defeat

DeGRAFF — Riverside topped Ridgemont 6-0 on Tuesday night in Northwest Central Conference softball. The Pirates scored three runs in the bottom of the first and added two more in the third inning.

BELLEFONTAINE — Spencer Bycynski had three RBIs and Todd Coleman and Trey Wilson knocked in two runs each as Ben Logan cruised to a 10-0 Central Buckeye Conference baseball win over Urbana in five innings on Tuesday afternoon.

ELIDA — The Kenton track teams managed just one first place finish in both the boys and girls meet as they finished third in a triangular with Elida and Ottawa-Glandorf on Tuesday.

USV splits dual with Bath

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley and Bath split a dual track meet on Thursday. The Ram boys won 13 events on the way to a 90-45 victory, while the Lady Rams won eight events but were defeated 69-58 in the team competition.
