The Junior Golf League is again going to try to play today at 5 p.m., weather permitting. Listen to WKTN for updates. The course is still planning on getting eight weeks of play in.

Mission Possible 5K

Mission Possible 5K

There were 54 people who ran or walked in the 6th Annual Mission Possible 5k in Mount Victory to benefit Mount Victory United Methodist Church Missions including: God's Lifeline and the Youth Scholarship Fund.

Officiating class set

BELLEFONTAINE — There will be an OHSAA-sponsored class for new football officials starting Aug. 5. The class will be held Mondays and Wednesdays throughout August from 5-8 p.m. in the seminar room at the Ohio Hi Point JVS in Bellefontaine.

Tryout slated

CALEDONIA — The Ohio Coyotes travel baseball team will be holding two tryouts for the 2016 14U season. Players must attend one of the dates, but are welcome to attend both.

Hensel ties for 3rd at HOJGA event

MOUNT GILEAD — Kenton’s Britton Hensel tied for third Tuesday in a rain-shortened Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association event at Pine Lakes. Hensel shot four-over par 40 to tie for third in the nine-hole event. Hensel was one of only two players in the 16-18 division to record a birdie.
