LEWISTOWN — Indian Lake defeated Ben Logan 7-0 in Central Buckeye Conference softball Wednesday.

LIMA — The Ben Logan girls track and field team placed third in a tri-meet hosted by Lima Shawnee on Wednesday. Wapakoneta won with 95 points, followed by the host Indians with 46. Ben Logan scored 34.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Arcadia used a five-run sixth inning to take a 6-2 victory against Riverdale in a Blanchard Valley Conference softball game Wednesday.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Arcadia scored four runs in the third inning and five runs in the fourth to take a 10-4 victory at Riverdale in Blanchard Valley Conference baseball play Wednesday.

RIDGEWAY — Upper Scioto Valley took advantage of eight walks and four errors to defeat Ridgemont 6-2 in Northwest Central Conference baseball Tuesday. Ridgemont outhit the Rams 4-3 as the Gophers’ Jace McGue kept USV hitters off-balance for much of the game.

RIDGEWAY — Ridgemont topped Upper Scioto Valley 7-2 in Northwest Central Conference softball Tuesday.

Kenton trailed Defiance by seven runs after two innings, but the Wildcats rallied to within one before ultimately falling 14-7 in Western Buckeye League baseball Tuesday.

DEFIANCE — Defiance jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings and held on to defeat Kenton 5-2 in Western Buckeye League softball Tuesday.

RIDGEWAY — The Ridgemont girls track and field team won a tri-meet it hosted Tuesday. The Gophers scored 64 points, nine more than second-place Waynesfield-Goshen. Elgin scored 36 points.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale used a huge two-out rally to push across five runs in the top of the seventh inning and take an 8-3 non-conference baseball victory Tuesday against Allen East.
