Kenton didn’t make it easy Tuesday, but the Wildcats still came out on top. St. Marys scored two runs to tie the game in the top of the seventh, but Kenton got a walkoff win in the 11th inning to grab a 5-4 Western Buckeye League baseball victory in a game that lasted nearly three hours.

ST. MARYS — Kenton scored in every inning Tuesday, pounding out 21 hits in a 27-2 five-inning Western Buckeye Conference softball victory over St. Marys.

ADA — Ben Logan won both the boys and girls side of a track and field tri meet hosted by Ada on Tuesday. The Raider boys scored 116 points.

RAWSON — Riverdale won its sixth straight game by rallying in the seventh inning and then winning in the eighth, 21-16, against Cory-Rawson on Tuesday. The Hornets led 15-10 entering the seventh inning when the Falcons (8-3, 3-2 Blanchard Valley Conference) scored five times to go up by one.

ENON — Ben Logan shook off allowing four runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Greenon 11-10 in nine innings Tuesday in Central Buckeye Conference baseball. The Raiders led 8-6 entering the seventh when they scored two more runs to stretch their lead to 10-6, but Greenon put four on the board to send the game to extra innings.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Both Riverdale’s girls and boys were winners in a home tri-meet against Arlington and Liberty-Benton on Tuesday. The Falcon girls won 93-55 over Arlington, with Liberty-Benton scoring 27 points.

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley jumped out to a 12-run lead and held on for a 13-8 victory over Temple Christian in Northwest Central Conference baseball Tuesday. The Rams led 7-0 after two innings and 13-1 after four, but Temple Christian scored four in the fourth, one in the sixth and two in the seventh to cut into the Ram advantage.

ENON — Ben Logan edged Greenon 4-3 in Central Buckeye Conference softball Tuesday.

RAWSON — Riverdale started slowly offensively but exploded for eight runs in the sixth inning to take a 12-1 victory against Cory-Rawson in Blanchard Valley Conference softball action Tuesday. The Hornets (1-5, 1-4 BVC) scored once in the first inning and held it until the Falcons (5-4, 4-1 BVC) got two runs in the third inning.

LEIPSIC — Ada defeated Leipsic 10-1 in softball action Tuesday. Teyah Sautter doubled, tripled and singled to lead the Bulldogs.
