Brim: KCS could build fund for early pay-off on elementary school Kenton City Schools board member Tom Brim would like the district to consider setting aside money for an earlier pay-off on the bond issue for the Kenton Elementary School. KCS staff favors earlier start, fair week off for 2015-16 year A calendar which calls for an earlier start to the 2015-2016 school school, along with being off for the Hardin County Fair, is the favorite among most staff members at Kenton City Schools. Kenton board gets positive report on district’s athletics Kenton Athletic Director Mike Leddy gave an upbeat report on the district’s sports programs at Monday’s school board meeting. Summer school could mean promotion of 50 USV students McGUFFEY — Some 50 Upper Scioto Valley students will be offered the chance to take summer school in lieu of retention.
