ORLANDO, Fla. — Members of Kenton High School Chorale and “Wildcat” Marching Band became stars of their own Disney show on March 22-23 when they entertained resort guests at Melody Gardens Theater in the Epcot Park and at the Magic Kingdom Park.

Applications are now being accepted for the Bonnie Pavlovic Nursing Scholarship. The scholarship was established in memory of Bonnie Pavlovic, a retired registered nurse at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Kenton preschool and kindergarten students will not be in session Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2 due to preschool/kindergarten screening.

FOREST — More than 20 community and business leaders attended a reorganizational meeting of the Forest Community Improvement (CIC) Wednesday at the Forest Jackson Public Library.

Correy Osborn doesn’t play with toys as much as many 10-year-old boys might do. But he loves his bike and he loves riding on the school bus every day to attend classes at Simon Kenton. There are many things Correy can’t enjoy, so to find things that give him pleasure is a personal victory, said his mother, Kristi.
