A Kenton man surrendered without incident and was arrested following a long standoff with police Friday evening.

In 2002, the library boards throughout Hardin County adopted a formula for dividing the state funding the county receives. Six of the libraries (which includes Belle Center) are happy with the way that formula is working. One library board feels the formula has been flawed from its conception and wants it changed.
