Merle L. Mowery, Vero Beach, Fla., was traveling east in the 100 block of East Columbus Street. James W. Burd Jr., 523 Decatur St., was facing north at the traffic signal at the intersection of North Wayne and East Columbus streets.

A vehicle owned by Ronald D. Harpest, 20107 CR 144, was parkied facing north on the east side of the parking lot at 117 Jacob Parrott Blvd. An unknown white vehicle, moving from north to south, struck the left-rear portion of Harpest’s vehicle.

While on patrol in the 400 block of East Columbus Street, an officer observed two small children unattended in the roadway. The officer removed the children from the roadway and located the parents who were inside a nearby residence.

A report was received of a refrigerator and stove missing from the now vacant residence at 260 W. Letson St. It was reported that a former tenant was seen moving items out of the house on the previous day.

An unoccupied vehicle owned by Ashley R. Schwartz, 359 N. Main St., was legally parked facing south on the west side of the roadway in front of her residence. Abigail M. Hastings, 212 Stephens St., was backing from a driveway on the east side of the street across from 359 N. Main St.

Officers were dispatched to 40 Grape St. for a report of a fight. Upon investigation, it was learned that a robbery had taken place.

An officer responded to a report of a pit bull running at large in the 300 block of N. Leighton Street. Upon arrival, the officer met with the dog warden who had the pit bull corralled into the owner’s back yard.

Allison J. Herriott, North Baltimore, reported that a known suspect smashed out the driver’s side window and windshield of her vehicle. She stated that the suspect accused her of owing him money, which she denied, and when she went to leave, the suspect smashed the windows.

An assault by a known suspect was reported at 655 N. High St. Joe VanHoose, 419 W. North St., was crossing W. Franklin Steet on the west side of N. Market Street heading south.

A burglary-in-progress was reported at 317 N. Ida St. A report was received of a suspicious man running from Davis Motor Sales.
