Desiree Rodriquez, 1037 S. Main St., Apt. 46-E, reported she had allowed a named suspect to come into her apartment to use the telephone. While inside, the suspect allegedly grabbed $20 from the table and ran out the back door.

Michael D. Sturgeon, 343 N. Barron St., was legally parked facing south in the 300 block of N. Barron Street. April E. McKenzie, 629 Steiner Ave., also on N. Barron Street ahead of Sturgeon, was backing up and struck his vehicle.

Russell D. Scarberry, 927 Robinson Ave., was cited for a stop sign violation. A report was received from Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Jeffrey S. McCloud, 915 Cooper St., reported that sometime after 8 p.m. on Friday, an unknown person cut four tires on his truck which was parked in his driveway. The unknown person also entered the unlocked truck and took an undetermined amount of loose change.

Angela M. Newland, Lima, reported that the front window of her home at 802 S. Main St. was damaged. An accident was reported at Walnut and Detroit streets.

An officer was dispatched to a reported of an abandoned vehicle in the 800 block of N. Detroit Street. Four days prior, the vehicle’s tires had been chalked, and the vehicle had yet to be moved.

John Thomas, 1006 W. Carey St., reported that he made arrangements to purchase a vehicle on Craigslist. He got a MoneyGram from Walmart for the $1,800 vehicle price, and somehow, Thomas said, the recipient of the MoneyGram was able to pick up the money without the reference number and without delivery of the vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to a report of domestic violence in progress at Forest Court Apt. 53-E. Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect, Michael Lee Rigney, 409 W. Gage St., Forest, did knowingly allegedly cause physical harm to a family member. He was arrested for domestic violence. An investigation will continue.
