To the editor: My name is Paul Anglemyer. Last year I joined the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation team. I have heard all sorts of things that have been said about my current company. Both good and bad.

I was watching TV with my granddaughter when there was pounding on my door. I opened it and, to my surprise, it was the Forest police chief.

In February 2009 Republican Minority Senate Leader Mitch McConnell wrote a letter to the Democratic Majority leader mandating conditions for Republican senators to consider any nominees proposed by President Obama that needed Senate confirmation.

I read in the Dec. 13th issue of the Times that council is considering making the intersection of N. Detroit St. and North St. a four-way stop. The purported reason for this is school bus safety to the elementary school as buses use North St. to cross Detroit. Mayor Manns stated he hopes to make a quality decision.

To the Editor, Quite simply, most people give to help others! The United Way of Hardin County continues to do just that, as it is celebrating 50 years of turning "Compassion into Action".

We at Not By Choice are so grateful for all the support that we have been given. But one thing continues to amaze us is that a lot of you readers haven’t heard of N.B.C.
