Kids offer hope for the future

My husband and I feel compelled to say that we spent a wonderful evening May 13 chaperoning Hardin County 6th, 7th and 8th graders at a Dance Party at the Kenton YMCA hosted by Lodge 157 of the Elks. This was Julie Crowe’s final year as the host of the event and she left no stone unturned.

Vandal ruins Easter egg hunt

To the person or persons who destroyed the Easter eggs that were put out on the Moose lawn for Moose members’ children to have an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 2: It is hard to describe the faces of the children when they came back inside with nothing but broken eggs and no candy in their bags.

‘Pals’ appreciate generosity

An open letter to the residents and business owners in Hardin County. Nobody anywhere can beat your generosity! Once again, you’ve given your time, money, talents and goods to support Pawsitive Pals purse bingo. There’s way too many of you to list here; but know, each and every one of you were listed in our program or our posts that went out to the 195 people who purchased tickets.

Poison prevention promoted

This year, March 19-25, 2017, Ohio Northern University’s chapter of the Student Society of Health System Pharmacists is participating in National Poison Prevention Week, a week nationally designated to highlight the dangers of poisonings and how to prevent them.
