Cross keeps focus on issues

The Cheryl Buckland campaign and cronies are behind the radio and TV ads and a phone survey that paints her opponent as too tainted to be elected. This is not a new tactic for old guard Republicans and Democrats who won’t run a clean campaign for fear of losing power and control, to new lesser known candidates.

At odds with legal historian

The right to bear arms is an constitutionally protected individual right! As I was reading Dan Robinsons report of a speech given by Professor Paul Finkelman at Ohio Northern University entitled "Did James Madison really think you should own an AR-15 a bump stock or an assault rifle? The original meaning of the Second Amendment."

Buckland is the right choice

On May 8th, Republicans will go to the polls to choose their nominee for the 83rd House District, with early voting beginning on April 10th. When it comes time to vote, however you cast your ballot, I urge my fellow Republicans to choose Cheryl Buckland as our nominee for the 83rd House District.

School shooting solution

I have been reading recently of the solutions proposed by the Kenton City School system and most recently that being looked at by Hardin Northern to provide security against a potential school shooter. Both relate to hiring a certified police officer as a school resource officer at a cost to the school system of about $52,000 per year per officer.

Losing state education voice

All Ohioans should know about a power grab in Ohio. Representative Bill Reineke of Tiffin representing Sandusky and Seneca counties has introduced legislation (HB 512) to consolidate 3 education departments to be combined into a new Department of Learning and Achievement according to the March 14, Courier Q & A.
