My name is Matt Jennings and I serve as the Chair of the Friends of Jon Cross Committee. I am not a regular editorial writer as I believe that it has to be a critical subject for me to share my thoughts and views.

I am frankly perplexed by Jon Cross’s outrage about PACs. If you check the internet (sdrostra.com) you will find that Mr. Cross was named as the Executive Director of the San Diego New Majority PAC on 5/6/11.

With all the political horseplay by Jon Cross and his supporters it is time to set the record straight. Cheryl Buckland is now, and will always be a strong supporter of what Kenton, Findlay, Hardin, and Hancock County needs in a leader.

Still undecided on how to vote on the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center 0.6-mill permanent improvement levy? Well let me ask you this, is $.062 cents per day, which is $0.43 cents per week, too much to ask for the future of our students from Kenton, Ridgemont and Upper Scioto Valley Schools?

What have the people of the 83rd House District done so wrong that they deserve candidates like Jon Cross and Cheryl Buckland? How dumb do Cross and Buckland think we are?

Election time is here for Ohio, and we will soon be going to the polls to choose the Republican Party nominee for the 83rd Ohio House District. There is one clear choice in that race – Cheryl Buckland.

I find the recent attack ads on this gentleman unacceptable and untrue!

The Cheryl Buckland campaign and cronies are behind the radio and TV ads and a phone survey that paints her opponent as too tainted to be elected. This is not a new tactic for old guard Republicans and Democrats who won’t run a clean campaign for fear of losing power and control, to new lesser known candidates.
