ADA — The Ada Police Department would like to caution the traveling public of increased train traffic and train speeds beginning within the month of February.

A Kenton man was placed on community control for five years after he pleaded guilty to a drug charge in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Robert Temple, 12507 Ohio 309, was stopped in traffic on W. Lima Street at Furney Street facing west. Barry L. Acton, 930 W. Carey St., was westbound on W. Lima Street and failed to stop in time, striking the rear of Temple’s vehicle. Acton was cited for speeding.

Special elections will be held May 5 in Kenton and the Ridgemont School District. The Kenton mayor’s race has prompted the special election in the city. Republican voters will select between incumbent Randy Manns and Councilman Tom Taylor.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Theatre presents the 11th International Play Festival in the Stambaugh Studio Theatre from Thursday, Feb. 19 to Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

BELLEFONTAINE — Benjamin Logan High School presents the theatrical production, “Lend Me A Tenor,” on Feb. 12-13 at the school auditorium.
