LIMA — This winter has been closer to average compared to the weather for the area one year ago, according to a report from the District One Office of the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The Kenton-Hardin Health Board has been concerned with the cheese and meats sold by Amish merchants for the past eight years. During that time, the board has reached compromises with Mary Slabaugh, owner of Mary’s Amish Market, only to find the merchant has reverted to methods of operation which are unacceptable to the health inspectors.
