Amish merchant complies with health regulations An Amish merchant is back to following proper safety practices in the handling of meats and cheese. Director of Environmental Services Shane Lotts told the Kenton-Hardin Board of Health at its meeting Tuesday night that during two recent visits to Mary’s Amish Market, there was no evidence of owner Mary Slabaugh cutting slices off bulk pieces of cheese and meats with a knife.
