KPD to acquire heroin overdose antidote

The Kenton Police Department is moving forward with a plan to enable its officers to carry and use a heroin overdose antidote. Chief John Vermillion told City Council on Monday night he is working with Hardin Memorial Hospital on establishing a policy and training for officers to administer Naloxone, a drug which reverses the effects of opiods

Dooley enjoys variety in the life of a pastor

Despite growing up the son of a pastor, Dave Dooley never imagined he’d follow in his father’s footsteps. “I didn’t have negative feelings or issues with it, I just never dreamed that’s what I’d be,” he said. Years down the line, however, Dooley started on the path to becoming a pastor and has been serving the Kenton Church of the Nazarene for seven years now.
