ADA — The Ada Board of Education canceled a special meeting originally planned for Friday and reslated it for Wednesday at the school. The session is to be mostly in closed session with the purpose of discussing the employment and compensation of public employees. The meeting is to begin at 5:45 p.m.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for more than two years after being convicted of charges in the Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

FOREST — The village of Forest will celebrate their second annual Charlie Brown Christmas on Sunday. The day begins will a soup and salad lunch at the Forest-Jackson Library, followed by the start of bidding on baskets in a silent auction, also at the library.
