McGUFFEY — The Upper Scioto Valley Board of Education reluctantly approved an agreement with the wind energy developer who holds a contract with the school district.

The Hardin County Agricultural Society met Dec. 3 at the Hardin County fairgrounds for its regular meeting with 18 directors and 11 guests present.

The 2016 inductees into the Hardin County Ag Hall of Fame included an educator, an administrator of a federal agriculture program, an inventor/businessman and a professor/college administrator.
