MARION — The Palace Cultural Arts Association (PCAA), better known to the community as the Marion Palace Theatre, has announce the entertainment schedule for the 2017-18 season. A wide variety of entertainment opportunities includes nine national and regional touring artists on the main stage and six local Palace productions.

BELLEFONTAINE — One hundred thirty-eight Benjamin Logan High School seniors will receive their diplomas at the 47th annual graduation ceremony on Friday at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Addressing this year’s class will be valedictorian, Abigail Hammer and salutatorian, Bradon Studebaker.
Hardin County employers have been recognized by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) for their strong workplace safety records. The employers were received awards during the Hardin County Safety Council’s annual awards ceremony May 18.

An officer was dispatched to Forest Court Apt. 83-H for a report of a missing juvenile, Trevor M. Lease, 16, who left home sometime after 10 p.m. on May 23. According to the report, he was possibly riding a silver bike with red wheels.
Kenton JROTC member Emma Ramsey places an American flag at the grave of Civil War General James Robinson in Grove Cemetery. An estimated 2,100 flags were placed on the graves of local veterans in preparation for the annual Memorial Day activities.
An Amish family is being given a month to move out of a barn or have site and soil evaluations conducted at his Dudley Township home. The Kenton-Hardin Health Board on Tuesday night agreed to give Mervyn Petersheim until June 27 to conduct the tests after Petersheim failed to have the tests done or meet with the board to air his concerns.
